Up for auction/sale is a premier early-date key issue in the Lincoln Wheat Cent series—an authentic 1911-S Lincoln Wheat Cent in choice Fine to Very Fine condition!

Struck at the historic San Francisco Mint, the 1911-S is legendary among numismatists as one of the true foundational key dates of the Lincoln cent series. With a tight original mintage of just 12,672,000 pieces, a massive percentage saw heavy, extended circulation in commerce over a century ago. Finding mid-grade survivors like this specimen with clear portraits, strong wheat lines, and honest, pleasing wear is becoming increasingly difficult. This coin represents an absolute must-have piece for any serious collector building a high-grade Lincoln cent album.
